Three precautions for splash lubrication of imported bearings
Splash lubrication refers to a common lubrication method for imported bearings in a closed gear transmission. The working principle is to use a rotating component such as a gear or a slick pan to splash the lubricating oil. Scattered onto the bearing or into the pre-designed oil groove along the tank wall into the rolling bearing to lubricate the rolling bearing, and the used lubricating oil can be recycled in the tank. Pay attention to the following three points when using splash lubrication:
(1) The surface of the lubricating oil should not be too high, otherwise the oil consumption of the oil should be too large, and the sediment in the oil pool, such as grinding debris, can be brought into the bearing part, causing abrasive wear.
(2) The lubricating oil in the tank should be kept clean frequently. The magnetic adsorber can be used to remove the grinding debris and foreign matter in time to reduce the occurrence of abrasive wear.
(3) In the structural design, the oil storage tank and the throttle opening to the bearing may be arranged on the tank wall, so that the bearing has a state similar to oil bath lubrication or drip lubrication, and the lubrication is supplemented to prevent insufficient oil supply.
Because imported bearings do not require any auxiliary equipment when using splash lubrication, they are often used in gear transmissions that are simple and compact.
